About the Festival

Founded in 1969 by the current Artistic Director, composer John Metcalf, the Vale of Glamorgan Festival is Wales’ leading contemporary music festival which, in its support for the work of living composers, has established an international reputation in its field.

A new role with the Festival

The Festival seeks a Producer to work closely with the Artistic Director for the next stage of its development. The Producer is responsible for the overall event management and delivery of the Festival, taking place this year in September. The post-holder will undertake a range of duties supporting the delivery of the artistic programme to include: relationships with key stake-holders and funders, fundraising, operational and financial management, legal management of the charity, as well as marketing.

Fee: This is a freelance position based on a 3 day week with a fee of £30,000 pa, pro rata (£18,000 pa). Fixed term subject to availability of funding.
