Louise Tolcher Goldwyn is the Learning Officer at Llantarnam Grange, and a contemporary craft practitioner. She has over twenty years experience as a craft educator, and is the South East Wales lead on the Criw Celf programme for gifted and talented young people.

This course will explore textiles as a discipline within the new curriculum. Participants will learn about contemporary textile practitioners that can be used as a resource in the classroom, and explore textile techniques suitable for Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils.

The creative process presented in this course is transferable into your school’s local environment, whether that be your local high street, and art or craft gallery or collection, nature or digital resources.
