Funded by the Arts Council of Wales, the Beaumaris Festival is an annual arts festival, which has taken place every year since 1986. Its Founding Artistic Director is Anthony Hose. Its Administrator is Seren Hâf Jones, it is governed by a Board of Directors and is supported by a strong committee of local volunteers.
The position of Marketing Officer is home based and part time. The appointment will begin on 2 January 2024 and end on 31 May 2024. The dates of the Festival are 22-29 May 2024. The fee is £4,000 in total, based on a commitment of approximately one day a week.
The duties will include: marketing the Festival via social media and electronic mail; creating marketing packs for each Festival event and content files for sharing ; creating copy and identifying images for Festival events and audience opportunities; ensuring that all marketing materials are bilingual ; sending updates to the Festival website ; updating social media platforms, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.; discovering PR opportunities and providing information/images as needed, sharing news items on social media ; providing risk assessment of home-based workspace and equipment ; collating content and writing the marketing leaflet; collecting advertisements for the Festival programme.
