Following a successful UK and China tour in 2019, Ballet Cymru are delighted to announce that the company’s award-winning production, Romeo a Juliet, will be performed as part of the Bermuda Arts Festival, on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th March 2020.

Bermudian dancer Krystal Lowe, now based in Wales, will be dancing the role of Juliet in her home country for the first time.

Darius James OBE, Artistic Director of Ballet Cymru said ‘as part of the company’s strategic international development plans, this is a fantastic opportunity to both share the art of ballet on the international stage, and also develop strong cultural links between Wales and other countries.’

The performances will be part of the festival’s 45th Anniversary, and Ballet Cymru will also be offering a ballet workshop to dancers in Bermuda before the performance on 11 March.

Romeo a Juliet won the award for Best Large Scale Dance Production, Theatre Critics of Wales Awards 2014
